custom furniture quality furniture
WHEN YOU OPT FOR A PIECE OF CUSTOM MADE FURNITURE AT RENO, YOU ARE PURCHASING CUSTOM FURNITURE IN EVERY DETAIL.
You choose the style, covering and the color, then you complete your piece by choosing the frame dimensions — broader or deeper seated, for example. You also have the possibility to choose the density padding to provide maximum comfort. Throughout the process, our advisers are with you, to guide you and point out opportunities available to you. Our craftsmen then set to work, carefully ensuring all stages of manufacturing.
Just prior to covering your furniture to your specification, you can perform a comfort test. You are invited to try your furniture to evaluate its comfort level. This is the time to discuss any adjustments you may require. You might want a slightly thicker back cushion or a seat cushion raised. The job is made to measure! Our craftsmen then apply your furniture covering. A piece of furniture that expresses your personality, designed for your comfort.
a unique piece of furniture
As an indicator of the quality of our furniture, many customers bought a custom made piece by RENO, then later chose to re-upholster it in our shop rather than buying a new piece. Alternately, if customers opt for the purchase of a new piece, it is common that they will offer their old furniture to their relatives. That’s quality that lasts from one generation to the next!
THE 5 STAGES OF MANUFACTURE OF FURNITURE
1 - The wood cutting | 1 OF 5
The production of furniture rests on a solid foundation. Our shop carpenters cut and assemble the parts in maple wood for the furniture frame. They have years of experience in woodworking. The structure of the furniture made in the RENO workshop is guaranteed for life.
2 - Preparation | 2 OF 5
Once the frame is built, they proceed with the filling stage, in which the cushioning material on all the inner parts of the cabinet structure are attached. This step aims to improve comfort, and is one of the first criteria that our customers are looking for.
3 - The cutting | 3 OF 5
The third step is to trim the material chosen for a covering, either leather or fabric or another textile. Our craftsmen use various patterns to cut parts accurately because, once assembled, they will have to adapt perfectly to the covering dimensions made to measure.
4 - Sewing | 4 OF 5
Making the covering is the next step. Our experienced designers assemble the leather or fabric pieces that will cover the furniture. As in the other stages, precision work is required so that the look is impeccable when the furniture is completed.
5 - The cushioning | 5 OF 5
The last step is the padding. When the furniture is assembled, the collection made and level of comfort selected, the craftsmen only need to proceed with the padding, to ensure that the pads fit properly in the piece or the chairs are all identical. It is also at this stage that quality control is performed so that the furniture is perfect before shipping to our customer's residence.
